European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas recalled that one year ago, 142 countries supported the New York Declaration on the Implementation of the Two-State Solution.

Kallas said the shared responsibility is to demonstrate in practice that two states, Palestine and Israel, living side by side can deliver lasting peace for the entire region.

Emphasizing lasting peace, Kallas said, “Our shared responsibility is to demonstrate in practice that two states, Palestine and Israel, living side by side, are the key to lasting peace for the entire region.”
